Partynextdoor has featured Drake in previous songs of his, including “Recognize,” which was a hit on his “PARTYNEXTDOORTWO” album.

Drake and Partynextdoor have similar but unique styles of music. In one of the songs on this album called “GIMME A HUG,” Drake calls out rapper Kendrick Lamar as a result of the many diss tracks Lamar wrote about Drake.
Partynextdoor and Drake became the iconic Canadian duo when on tour in August 2024, in which Drake made a guest appearance in Partynextdoor’s hometown, Mississauga. Two days after the concert, fans were posting nonstop about possible new albums to come.
Partynextdoor later revealed how the 15 — soon to be 21 — song album was to drop Feb. 14 with Drake as a collaborating artist in the album.
This album has followed actions by Drake to go against the Universal Music Group which also owns Republic Records — Drake’s own label. Drake also initiated a legal petition against Spotify due to conspiracies of them inflating the numbers of the diss track “Not Like Us” by Kendrick Lamar, which was about Drake’s shady past.
Overall, the album features really catchy songs with two lead artists, along with interesting backstories as a part of each creation.
