The newest installment of the popular video game series “Poppy Playtime” was released late last month on Steam and the App Store after a year of waiting. 

     Throughout the chapters, players go deeper into the Playtime Factory, learning more about the evil that lurks within. The player battles bad guys like Huggy Wuggy, Mommy Long Legs and CatNap, as well as new characters like The Doctor and Doey the Doughman. 

     Players go through many challenges in Chapter Four: meeting The Doctor, who watches through cameras and screens, becoming allies with a creature named Doey, solving more puzzles like in the previous games and watching more VHS tapes that were left behind.

     The Safe Haven is located early in the chapter and Poppy — a red-haired porcelain doll — explains her plan to explode the factory and everything inside it using the Red Smoke, also known as CatNap’s sleep gas from the previous chapter. 

     It is revealed that the final boss, The Prototype, who has been manipulating everyone all along, pretending to be The Doctor and Ollie, a young boy who has been helping the player through a phone since the previous chapter, guiding the player through puzzles, giving instructions and informing on important past events such as the Hour of Joy. 

     Chapter Four has shown a major improvement from the first two chapters of the series. Chapter Four and Chapter Three have dove into more depth, detail and content. Popular YouTubers are playing the game now more than ever.
