Penn-Trafford becomes 5-0 after victory over Franklin Regional

In a team victory, the Penn-Trafford Warriors defeated the Franklin Regional Panthers 53-27. 11 P-T players scored throughout the game, led by Lauren Marton with 11 points.

The game started with a total of 3 points scored until just over 2 minutes left in the first quarter. The Warriors quickly shifted the momentum in the following quarter, scoring 22 points spread throughout six different players. 

By halftime, P-T led 30-9. Junior Torrie DeStefano and Marton both scored five points in the second quarter.

The Panthers relied on senior point guard Madison DeRiggi, who totaled 12 points throughout the night. 

Going into the third quarter, the Warriors slowed down and the Panthers decreased the deficit to 35-17.  

Both teams cycled through their bench in the final quarter, and the Warriors held onto the lead 53-27. In all of the Warriors’ victories, they have scored in the 50s.

P-T remains undefeated with a 5-0 record, while Franklin Regional becomes 2-3 on the season.
