The long-lasting rivalry between Penn-Trafford and Norwin was upheld in the nail-biter girls’ basketball game on Dec. 3 at P-T High School.
The score was within 5 points at the end of each quarter, and the final winner came down to the last seconds.
After P-T ironically inbounded the ball out of bounds, Norwin regained possession with 5.4 seconds left, down 51-50. Norwin could not execute their last play though, and after a missed layup, the Warriors held onto the ball to secure their victory.
PG Torrie DeStefano led the way for the Warriors, scoring 17 points, followed by forward Lauren Marton with 11.
The Lady Warriors boost their record to 3-0, following previous victories against Seneca Valley and Taylor Allderdice.
