P-T students share their favorite Thanksgiving traditions

Thanksgiving takes place on Nov. 28, 2024 this year.

From eating food to seeing family, Penn-Trafford students love their holiday traditions. The Warrior asked them to share their favorite Thanksgiving traditions.

Some people said that eating food is their favorite tradition. Freshmen Juliana Reily, Owen Andersen and Joey Aquino  all love eating food on Thanksgiving.

Family is significant to students at P-T. Freshmen Gianna Piconi, Jameson Grover and Luke Startari all said that their favorite part of Thanksgiving is seeing family.

Junior Bryce Ruby stated, “I go to both of my grandparent’s houses.”

Football is also a big part of some students’ Thanksgiving, with there being annual games. Freshman Payton Glenn, sophomore Carson Weishorn and freshman Jake Harcarik all love watching football with their family on Thanksgiving.

Whether it is eating food, spending time with family or watching football, Thanksgiving traditions are special to the students of P-T.
