In her fourth and final year on The Warrior newspaper staff, senior Abby Dreistadt serves in the position of Editor in Chief for her second consecutive year. This role consists of the following duties: approving newspaper content, copyediting articles and mentoring new or returning members of the staff. Dreistadt has explored various content types over the years, though her favorites remain A&E/editorial and news. Outside of her work on the paper, she is on work release and holds a steady job at Chick-fil-A in Monroeville, where she has developed valuable skills in communication and teamwork. In her free time, Dreistadt writes poetry as a creative outlet to explore her emotions and experiences. Finally, after graduating high school, she will go to Grove City College to pursue a degree in English, aiming to use the skills she has learned in a professional environment.
