“At the beginning there was big a surge of people, but once everyone got their tickets and settled down, we had a really good night and [it] was a lot of fun,” said senior Mason Tosadori.
Some of the prizes included money, gift cards and baskets, donated by local businesses and school clubs, such as Walkers Pet Hotail, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Student Union and LEO Club. Also, there was a 50/50 raffle for over $200.
The media literacy class also sold food, including hot dogs and popcorn, which went to fund the class. They raised nearly $300 just from that.
