allrecipes.com to have an autumn twist.

To bake these pumpkin spice ginger cookies, you will need:

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cups softened butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • ¼ cup molasses

First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. After that sift your flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin spice, and salt together into a bowl.

Then, cream together your butter and one cup of sugar into a large bowl until it appears light and fluffy. Proceed to beat in your egg, and then stir in your water and molasses after that. Proceed to steadily stir in your sifted ingredients into the mixture you just created.

Once your dough is all together, shape it into balls that are about walnut-sized, and roll them in the leftover sugar. Place the dough balls about two inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten them slightly.

Bake the cookies for eight to ten minutes. Allow them to cool for five minutes before removing them from the oven to cool completely.

Now you and your family get to enjoy the ginger-pumpkin spice goodness that may even become a Thanksgiving classic.
