As the new school year has become much more ordinary than previous years, fall sports are in full swing and mostly normal, but fans and students have noticed that the Penn-Trafford warrior mascot has been missing. 

     However, Assistant Principal Amy Horvat said that the school’s mascot is not actually gone.

     According to Horvat, the administration wants to present the mascot as a more authentic looking warrior and is considering ways to revise its appearance. Horvat said she talked to Bushy Run Battlefield about finding a more authentic look to honor the Native Americans that fought in the area. 

     Waiting for Bushy Run to get back to her, Horvat said she is hoping the mascot will be back for fall sports.
