According to Horvat, the administration wants to present the mascot as a more authentic looking warrior and is considering ways to revise its appearance. Horvat said she talked to Bushy Run Battlefield about finding a more authentic look to honor the Native Americans that fought in the area.
Waiting for Bushy Run to get back to her, Horvat said she is hoping the mascot will be back for fall sports.
